A poem for my Dad

When I talk to my daddy he always gives me his ears,
He is the great big pebble and has no fears,
It's really fun when we play board games after tea,
We all came to sit down and watch the Jubilee.

When we have tea, he is always happy,
When we watch a movie mummy's always so chatty,
When we do 3D printing it always takes time,
When we don't like sweets, we always give daddy the lime.

When I am sad, he always cheers me up,
When I am bored, he tells me to read a book,
This might not be your favourite poem,
But it was written by me,
And on the podium, you're one two and three!

My Dad at 50

Good dads are rare,
Smart ones are too,
But I hit the jackpot,
By having a dad like you.

He's very kind,
And he's very loving,
He has a good mind,
And he can't stop hugging.

He is the best dad,
There's nothing to change,
Apart from when he is sad,
When he can't go to the golf range.

He enjoys going out cycling,
And wearing skinny jeans,
People say it's a mid life crisis,
But I don't know what that means.

You may think he is getting older,
He can get a free flu jab,
But I don't see him differently,
He will always be my Dad!

My Dad at 50

Thank you Dad

In the early light of the morning,
With his tools laid out by the car,
My dad beside me, strong and wise,
Together, we make memories that will go far.

He teaches me what to do,
I always sit and talk,
With laughter echoing in our driveway,
When he's finding the right torque.

When trouble arise's, he stands so tall,
With patience, he talks me through it all,
A mentor, a friend, in every way,
In his support, I find my way.

With oil-stained hands and smiles so bright,
Rebuilding the car, can be a fight.
In each little challenge, a lesson unfolds,
With my dad, every moment is gold.

The best person I've ever known,
In his love, I have truly grown,
With gratitude I hold so close,
You're there when I need you most.

Thank You Dad

My Mum

My Mum is the nicest person I have ever known,
She is always there for me,
Supporting me at all times.

She is smart,
Always knows the right thing to say when I am upset.

Whether it's helping me with my homework,
Or giving me advice on my handwriting,
My Mum is always there to lend a helping hand.

Not only is My Mum intelligent,
But she is also the nicest and most caring person I know,
Her selflessness is truly inspiring and someday I would like to be just like her.

In conclusion, My Mum is amazing in every way,
She is a guiding light in my life,
Her wisdom and love have shaped me into the person I am today.

I am so grateful and lucky to have someone as wonderful as her in my life.

I will always appreciate everything she does for me,
I can only hope to be as great as she.
